Spring Brunch
March 6 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

As we turn the page away from the turbulence of 2020, the team at Fern House is praying that your New Year has gotten off to a safe and healthy start. In an effort to ensure that we all get to the other side, we at Fern House have made the difficult decision to postpone our Spring fundraising brunch. As much as we want to have our event, your health and safety are far more important, leading us to this difficult decision.
While we look ahead to rescheduling the Yacht Club event for the Fall, we want to invite you to join us on our normal weekend to gather together for something a little different.
We can all admit by now that no one really wants to try and find an outfit to match our mask, so why bother? Let’s just stay home and stay safe on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at the Fern House Spring Brunch at Home!
On Saturday, March 6, 2021, enjoy your normal Saturday breakfast routine with a twist: take a breakfast selfie (with or without yourself included) and post it to our social media pages with the hashtag #SpringBrunchAtHome and we will highlight those culinary treats we really wish we were able to attend. Let’s turn social media into the Brunch Selfie Club!
If everything calms down and it becomes safe to come together, we will do our normal brunch in the Fall; until then, this just makes the most sense.
In lieu of joining us for an event during these troubling times, we suggest you think about the following things:
Event Tickets: $100.00
Outfit to wear to the event: $125.00
Hair, Manicure, Pedicure: $150.00
Dry Cleaning after the Event: $50.00
Saturday Morning in your pajamas: PRICELESS
Total donation to not attend: That’s up to you!
That’s right, the event itself is free of charge, we will however happily accept a donation towards our capital campaign “Foundations for the Future”
Foundations for the Future
The Foundations for the Future Campaign has been in full swing for three years and the pandemic hasn’t slowed our progress one bit. Our total goal of raising 1.5 million dollars that will allow us to proceed with the construction of the new James Robinson Memorial Dining Room and new administrative offices is close enough we can almost reach it.
Phase I of the construction is in full swing and should be wrapped up this Spring. Phase II construction, which will be the removal of our current dining room and construction of two new buildings preparing us for future expansion, should be ready for groundbreaking by the end of the year.
There are many Naming Opportunities remaining on the table, secure yours today.
