Executive Director
Brief info
Charles “Chuck” Cordle is a Certified Addictions Counselor who joined the Fern house staff in August 2011 as a Manager and Court Liaison. Chuck has served as our Executive Director since March 2014. As a member of the Fern House alumni, Chuck has his own experience overcoming addiction and building a transformed life, and he adds those personal experiences to the clinical knowledge he has learned to help our residents piece their lives back together.
Chuck is well suited to assist our residents in the process of rebuilding a life worth living. His story involves a wild ride that goes from living under a bridge to earning an Executive position in just five short years. Driven by a personal principle that absolutely nothing worth having in life comes easy, he will tell anyone willing to listen that they can write their own future if they are willing to put in the effort.
Chuck takes the mission of Fern House to help indigent male chronic alcoholics and drug addicts achieve sustained sobriety and return to the mainstream of society as productive, responsible citizens very personally. “Fern House was always there for me when I needed help. As long as I am leading Fern House, we will be there when the next Chuck C. walks through our front door.”
