Fern House — Residential Rehabilitation for Men

Stories and updates in Volunteers.

Part of the pathway to long-term sobriety is doing things for other people with no expectation of reward. That is not sentiment; it is a working part of the programme. Residents turn out for beach cleanups at Lake Worth, for community events, and for the unglamorous jobs nobody volunteers for twice.

These posts cover what our residents have been out doing, and how people in Palm Beach County can join them. You do not have to be in recovery to show up — most of the men will tell you that helping is the part that surprised them.
