Fern House is positioning itself to ensure it is always waiting to help. Currently our two properties require two major improvements: the Harry Hamilton Campus needs a new roof, and the Church Street Campus desperately needs impact windows installed.
The roof project will cost Fern House $225,000, and our fundraising plan tells us this project will be complete in the Spring of ’27. That will be followed by our aggressively searching for the $125,000 required for the window project, with hopes to complete this by the end of next year.
It is imperative we complete these projects to protect the mission of Fern House. With the changing world we live in, preparing ourselves for more frequent and stronger hurricanes ensures the health and safety of our residents and staff. The two projects listed will complete the necessary work to ensure that safety and security exist.
